Best fried shrimp and dark gumbo anywhere. Very shabby, run down facilities, but I don't care.

Me and my family enjoyed the service and the food, they stayed on top of everything we all needed.

Wonderful staff and awesome food.

I met my Aunt and uncle here while visiting the area. Our server was terrible!!! Brought out our drinks 17 min after ordered. The fried mushrooms were terrible. Our food was good, but brought out 1 plate at a time. We didn't get to eat together. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Food was good, server was kind...place needs updating. Bathroom was a bit on the dirty side and the cleaning products were left in the main dining room. My mother in law loves their salmon, when I've had their fried food it tastes old or reheated. Hush puppies were hard and fries were stale.

Latest visit was definitely worth the drive. Not a fancy place, but the food has always been consistently good. This visit it was even better! There have been some changes in the kitchen re: staff and food prep and the results were amazing, at least with the fried entrees. They get my enthusiastic vote for the best fried oysters and shrimp, hands down. Light, crispy outside, moist perfectly cooked inside, the oysters were as close to perfection as you can get, the shrimp, excellent. These folks have nailed it! Congrats Baytown Seafood! I consider you above the bar for the SE Texas area.

The food and service was amazing!! I definitely recommend Baytown Seafood!! our waitress was the best however I did not catch her name short blonde hair and a great positive attitude I noticed her taking on our order and helping everyone else out as well, definitely on top of her game!! Thank you!!😊

The best seafood I've had in a while

It's been awhile since I've eaten here. I'm not sure what happened to the restaurant but the food was awful. My Osters had absolutely no flavor my baked potato hardly any butter and just a tiny little bit of cheese with no flavor. I will not be returning.

Me and my supervisor go to every Baytown seafood we see every time we go to southeast Texas. This one is really good. Good service and no problems with our food.

As always the staff is very friendly and food is awesome. The crawfish are good size, quantity is right for price and the seasoning is amazing. Anyone looking for great seafood should definitely visit Baytown Seafood in Groves, Texas.

Yes the building is old, who cares. I wasn't t there for the building. I was after seafood and I was in the right place. The red fish was perfect, the grilled shrimp was excellent. The scallops we're plump and juicy and the texture was perfect. Only down side was the scallops were cold. Other than that it was a wonderful meal right down to the grilled veggies and the perfectly prepared rice. The staff were very courteous and attentive. Even though they were busy, they always had a genuine smile. I can't tell you about dessert options, but I know they are there. I recommend Baytown Seafood to all.

Shrimp was excellent. Boudin was great, but cold in center. Service was great and prices good. Love the selection on the menu. Something for just about everyone. 1st time here will definitely come back.

Very good service food was really good I like the lighting theme also pretty fair price for two dishes and two drinks also didn't have to wait long at all for my food.one my favorite places to get fried shrimp.

Crawfish were HORRIBLE. It was as if they were heated up in a microwave and served dry. The chicken tenders were not tender at all and the gravy was super bland. There was a roach on my booth (booth #6) and they did NOTHING about it. And to top it off, the women's bathroom was disgusting....they had two toilets but one was overflowing with brown nastiness. I will never come here again. If I could have given no stars, I would have.When we let them know about everything, they did not do a thing about any of it. It really was a horrible experience and I am truly sorry that we decided to eat here today..

It's fast not greasy good seafood at a great price

Wonderful service, great food and always super accommodating! Always willing to move around tables to accommodate our bigger last minute parties. They are awesome! Wish I lived closer! But they are on waitr❤️

Best fish ever had in all of Texas,it was the Red Snapper fried and the whole fish not the fillet, it tasted real not like mud fish they grow in backyards., which actually some restaurants use. The French fries were awesome 👏 nice and crunchy and the sweet tea tasted great 👍🏻 didn’t just taste like it came out of a bottle and the only down side was the shrimp that was fried and had a crispy crunch on the outside it tastes like soap for some weird reason but would totally be back again if we’re close by for that whole Fried Red Snapper..

Try the crab stuffed salmon meal!!! It is amazing. Nice variety of grilled dishes and fried foods also. Great food and very affordable. Even thier burgers are huge and great even though its a seafood restaurant 😆. I eat here at least twice a week when in town.

Fried Shrimp and oyster platter is my go to dish here but they have some excellent broiled seafood choices also.

The food was fantastic! Very good flavor and good service. Don't be disappointed by the aesthetic. We had a waiter by Shawn and he did great even when he felt from the shoes that the job gave him but he was nice about it. I thoroughly enjoyed my food.

It's kinda a place in the wall. Not a place you really wanna dine in. But, they make up for it in food. The oysters are the best. They make their tarter sauce alot like I do. It makes a huge difference. Cocktail sauce is great too. Their one of our Favorite places to eat. We always know we are going to enjoy the food and don't mind paying for it. The waitresses always seem to be nice. I believe they could do a better job in cleaning up the place. The building kind of run down. Yet it doesn't stop us from going. Try it..I don't think you'll regret it. We love it.

The service was fantastic... but the gumbo was terrible full of cloves and bay leaves... very very cheap sausage... it was a to-go order so I didn't know until I had gotten home. Very disappointed.

Not a big crawfish fan BUT, I've been here twice for crawfish, 3lbs & 5lbs respectively, and I ate them all. It was that good!

This is the place my father goes almost every Sunday after church. There isn't enough space between the front door and the hostess, so people get backed up. The waitress was courteous and prompt. Our drinks and food came out extremely quick. I had the grilled seafood. The portions were generous and well seasoned. Everyone seemed pleased with their meal. One member of our party ordered a meal to go, and the waitress delivered it as we were on our way out, which was extremely thoughtful. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would recommend this restaurant to others.

Maria took my order in the drive thru and she did such a great job I had to tip 😍. I got a couple pieces of fish and some hush puppies. The food was very fresh and they provided all the utensils, sauces and napkins without having to ask. A+

We ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!! Our daughter begs to go eat here. We go as a family & we gather here with friends & EVERY TIME ITS AMAZING!!!! I haven’t ordered ANYTHING from here that wasn’t ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!!!! If I could give them 10 STARS I definitely would. I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED YOU ADD THEM TO THE TOP OF YOUR LIST OF BEST SEAFOOD RESTAURANTS IN THE AREA!!!!!! Don’t miss this stop👍🏻

Food was delicious. Dining room was cluttered with kitchen items. Kinda weird.
